I prefer dark grey trucks, but I'd be cool with a blue, white, or silver truck as well. As long as I can get the options I want in one of those colors I'm happy.

Given my profession, I could do #4. But I'm more of a #2 kind of guy.

The right truck? I couldn't care less what color it is.

But if I'm faced with a choice of similar optioned trucks, I will stay away from white, black, silver, or gray.

Usually I'm only picky enough on colors to say, no black or white. Actually to me interior color matters more, I strongly dislike tan/brown interiors.

When shopping for my Mustang I said no black, white or silver. I can tell you that SERIOUSLY cuts down your options.

I'm the same way. If I got a good enough deal I could probably drive a truck in just about any color. But I CANNOT stand the tan/beige interiors, there's no way I'd own one.

Yep. Gets dirty too easy and I just hate the color. Friend of mine got a sweet race red 2015 Mustang and it has a tan and black interior in it. And he told me he WANTED that. Blech. I've also seen a few F150/F250's with the Adobe (?) interior color and that looks pretty awful too, but different strokes for different folks I guess.

Damn didn't think I'd get such a response from ya all.
Though my question is more towards buying used, heck if you're buying new then who cares you already have the money to be picky !
this is about buying used - be it a sit & wait game & hope what you want shows up for sale or compromise for whats on the market.
plus this considering the time frame you expect the truck you're already driving has for without any issues.

I largely look for the greatest value. The only exception, is if it is a color that I truly hate (gold blech). In that case, I wait for the next good deal that comes along.

When you decide to spend major coin on a new truck, compromise on color and options is NOT a wise decision. If your local dealer doesn't have it... make them look for it, if they can't find it then order it.
