Default Trip to the dealer?

Hey all,

First noticed some moisture after using the remote start feature in colder weather. Shot this video and it looks to me like I donít have a good seal on the exhaust. Any comments on a trip to the dealer or not is appreciated.

There are weep holes in the exhaust for moister to drip out of depending on what year your truck is.

Please add your truck to your signature so people can help you easier.

Weep holes make sense...more concerned about what appear to be gasses leaking out

Not sure why the truck isnt in the signature as I have edited/saved a couple times but the truck in question is a 2018 XLT 3.5 EB 302a

If the weep hole is large enough for fluid to come out then a gas will also.

Its normal. Allowing moisture to escape the muffler will keep the muffler from prematurely rotting out.

Normal, the first time I noticed the puddle under my truck I was surprised, never had a vehicle do that before. Fords have always been good at removing moisture out the exhaust. The old panther cars used to have water pouring out the exhaust when you got on it.

As the others have said...NORMAL, TYPICAL, INSIGNIFICANT, PAR FOR THE COURSE...forget it and move on.
Unless that is you're getting exhaust fumes in the cabin.
I also get small middle puddles when starting up a cold engine and have never pay it no mind.
