some have lucas and some dont. you may have to carry your own up there. be sure to ask what kind of fluid they are putting in it. your truck requires a mercon V fluid but most places use a universal fluid. i have had good experience with the pennzoil brand universal fluid but i cant speak for the rest.

I consider a flush to be when cleaning solvents are used. A fluid exchange can be done just using Mercon fluid, even though you are "flushing" the old fluid old with new. Many places hear flush and think it means cleaning too. Differences in terminology I guess.

I always recommend both. The flush (i.e. with a machine) will remove 99% of the contaminated fluid and then dropping the pan will replaced the filter.

Im a fan of Lucas and use it in all of my cars, engines and transmissions. After a few days of driving you will notice a difference in shifting. In fact you probably wont feel it shift at all anymore.
