Question TPMS Woes

Hey all, made this account specifically to ask this as I work at a dealership and dont own a Ford.

Recently I did all 4 new tires and new sensors in every wheel on a 2015 F-150. Went smoothly and was able to calibrate all the sensors flawlessly, Fast forward 6 months and the TPMS light is on and flashing. Hmmm

So assuming the new sensors are still good i went to recalibrate them and behold one sensor is completely unresponsive, while the other 3 are at 100% battery. Didnt feel like wasting time so I programmed a new sensor and got it installed right away.

Going through the TPMS training process the original 3 that were good got picked up right away by the truck, the wheel I had to replace the sensor on is being completely ignored by the truck. My scan tool picks it up instantly but its just refusing to pick up the signal from that wheel no matter how many times i sit there and scan it while in TPMS training mode.

Any idea what is going on here?? Ive done hundreds of relearns and havent come across something like this yet. Also have had TPMS modules that need to be replaced and they gave very different results than whats going on here.

Very confused any help is appreciated!

Have you tried moving the wheel to a different location?
Maybe an aftermarket something in the vehicle interfering.

I also worked at a dealership and know how stuff happens. Could the 1st one have just gone bad and parts gave you the wrong MHz sensor. Just a thought.
