What is the Payload on the door jamb? You can tow more than 5,000, but your payload determines much of that. Max tongue weight of 500, see the sticker on the underside of your hitch.

Well, I'm looking at pontoon boats and the 21 ft pontoon I'm looking at is only 3900 lbs on the trailer. So I'm good if I get that one. But what I want is a 22 or so ft boat with a buddy cabin.

so me borrowing your Boston whaler is out of the question?

please forgive me. i love to look at "****" as my wife calls it. travel trailers, boats, trucks and guns. i guess the holy grail of that would be a toy hauler on a f350 with a gun rack and a boat in the back.

Don't do it! You'll end up buying one, and never looking back!

I went with the big horse diesel, and I'll never be a gas engine owner again when it comes to towing. Same trailer on my 2007 gas engine gets me 17, maybe 17.3 MPG. With the diesel pulling the very same trailer, I get 22 to 23 MPG. This horse does not even know that trailer is hitched up.
