Default Tonneau and Rack Suggestions

We are planning on purchasing a 2014 Ford F150 Lariat 4x4 with Maxtow and HD Payload. We will be pulling a large travel trailer, right now we have a Cruiser RV Enterra 316RKS in mind. We will also be taking a couple toys including a Mad River canoe and bicycles. Other item will be carried at other times.

So, the question is what hard tonneau covers have people liked and what racks. Compatibility between the two is obviously very important.

Thanks in advance.

I had a hard time finding a tonneau that can be used with a rack. Bak makes an intergrated tonneau/rack. I wasn't a fan of it and ended up buying the thule xsporter. It can't be used with my tonneau but gives me more flexibility. Good luck on the search.

Why didn't you like the Bak? I have been looking at it.

We make a rack that works with our ACCESS Roll-Up Covers and other inside-the-rail tonneau covers. It's called the Adarac and you can learn more about it here: http://www.agricover.com/access/adarac/

Here's an F-150Forum thread about the Adarac being used with a another brand of tonneau cover: https://www.f150forum.com/f38/just-i...akflip-113411/

If there's anything else I can do for you, please let me know.

It just didn't suit my needs, nothing against that rack at all. I already had some thule bike trays. So made sense to me to stick with it regardless of the hastle I will have to go through swapping all the time. Plus I liked the idea of how the thule is height adjustable. And I think that it could hold more in weight. We tent camp and the idea of turning that into tent platform so we are off the ground was appealing! I just wouldn't get that from the Bak.

I would be interested in suggestions as well, though I have a Bakflip F1 already.

I've narrowed it down to:

Bakflip F1
Extang Solid Fold
Extang Encore
