Titan or F150

yall are not giving any reasons the ford is better than the nissan...i agree when the titans first came out the interior was not as good....but now it is a MUCH better interior than the ford. the mpg is the only valid reason but as far as i can tell most people i have talked to or seen in the nissan forum are getting 17 mpg with more hp than the fords. as far as the person who made refrence to it being a rice burner, it is made in Canton, MS as opposed to the fords made in canada having to find a hockeypuck station or mexico a tamale station to fill up with.....

really? i have a much better quote for a nissan as opposed to the ford....the ford 4.6 crew cab with split bench is 2k more than the titan crew cab 5.6l much more hp with bucket seats, power back, glass blue tooth, and rockford fosgate stero system...
I actually hate NISSAN as a company. Nissans have just always seem to be CRAP compared with Toyota on the imports comparison.
NOW, that being said I like the Titan and almost got one. They wanted tooooooooooo much for what I was going to get though.
I think its a nice truck, interior isnt my thing but its ok, but I just hate Nissan so when it came down too it I bought my F-150 and didnt look back.

I gave you the best reason of all. Reliability. The Titan has been riddled with issues. Having more power is a bit deceptive. If you look at the power curve you'll see that the Ford engines develop their power much lower in the rpm range which is why they are considered better at towing. Long term, who knows what the Titan will be like in 10 years? Ford has more trucks with over 200k miles on the road than anyone.

And you'll be taking it in to the dealer a lot more often as well. All the hp in the world is useless if you can't keep the vehicle on the road. I never understood people worrying about how much hp a truck has. Payload and style are the only two things that matter. The Nissan is the fugliest truck I've ever seen.

Morning madmax303,
more power and more torque. That is what "floats your boat"? Columbus discovered the Americas by mistake, perhaps you might do the same.
If you only plan to drive you Titan in the city. Go ahead.
You can pull your F-150 into any corner gas station in North America and they are likely to have parts that are going to fit and work on your truck. Stuck in the back woods. More than likely, your F-150 can be fixed with bailing wire and gun tape. More power and more torque = more parts under stress and more likely to break. Not saying that the F-150 isn't a power horse.
It is like the old addage:
there was 2 bulls on top of the hill. A young bull (Titan) and an old bull (F-150). They are looking down the hill at all the cows.
The young bull (Titan) excitedly says to the old bull (F-150), "Hey lets run down the hill and get us a cow each".
The old bull (F-150) looks over at the young bull (Titan) and says, "Lets walk down and f... them all".
So if you want to be excited and do something the remainder of us wouldn't...
