Default Tires & wheels help, please

I've decided to get the Bilstein 5100 shock leveling kit installed on my 2012 F-150. This I know for sure. What I don't know for sure is, what size tires I'm going to put on and whether or not I really need new rims. My rims are stock, and I believe they are 17". My rims look acceptable - they aren't sporty or aggressive, but they look fine when they're nice and clean. So if I really don't need new wheels, it would save me a lot of money to skip that part.

My biggest question is, what size tires to go with after the 2.5" lift. I'm not trying to make my 2-wheel drive look like something it's not (it can only look so aggressive - it's not an off road model) - just wanna level the truck and put slightly larger, all-terrain tires on, which I think will give the truck a little more aggressive look.

My current tires are R255/65/R17.

Looking at the photos of my truck, what size tire do you think would look best after the Bilstein 5100s are installed and the front end comes up 2.5" ?? I want the tires to be larger than what I have now, but not too big where it all looks disproportionate. And I'd like to keep my original rims - at least for right now.

Thanks in advance!

I suggest 285r 70. Not too aggressive, not too weak. That size looks good on most stock F150s but they are only 32"

With that lift/level kit, it could accommodate at 34" no problem

I forgot to mention that when looking into tires it is important to notice the wheel size as well. Most stock wheels like you have, will not accommodate that tire size, which is why all the lifted trucks have aftermarket wheels. The widest tire those stock wheels will accommodate is a 275r.

Good point. I didn't think about that. Considering I've got 255 on right now, would going to 275 be noticeably larger, or not really?
