I have 31x10.50 on a 4x4 with no problems other than about a 10% speedo error as measured by the friendly KY State Police (really - he slowed me down alongside until the posted 65mph speed limit was achieved according to his speedo, gave me the thumbs up, and moved on)

Do have aftermarket 8" rims.

33's might be do-able if you're willing to accept a little rub on turns.
