tire size-let see your pics!
Evening, ladies and gents!
I own a 2012 f150 xlt 4 door 3.7L v6 2wd. It has the factory 18 inch sport rims. It currently does not have a leveling kit on it, but im going to get one installed and aligned before doing this project.
Im sure this forum has an overload of discussion about this, but how bout you help a guy out and post away.
Im not looking to get a lift kit, but want the off road look. i plan on getting a set of fuel hostage rims and want to know what the larges tires i can get on the rims will fit with a leveling it installed. Im considering 18" and 20" wheels. what is the largest tire size?
Could you please post up pics of your rides that only have a leveling kit with large off road tires? I'd like to see what my truck would look like. Thanks again!

this thread seems like common advice https://www.f150forum.com/f4/tire-wh...04-08-a-24510/
so I guess you're looking at a max of 33X12.5. rim size is a personal preference but I like the look of a bit of side wall so I'm sticking with my 17's. I don't have a 2wd so pics might be misleading since a level is going to make a 4wd higher than a 2wd.

what does "back spacing" mean? the distance needed from the tire to the fender?
i too would like the wide look!

backspacing is the distance from where the hub will meet the rim to the back edge of the rim... offset tells you the same thing in a different way. offset set is the distance from the center of the rim to where the hub will contact the rim... so positive offset means more of the rim is towards the inside of the truck, negative means more is toward the outside and 0 offset means the center of the rim is even with where the hub meets the rim
as far as searching, sometimes I have luck sometimes I don't so i don't knock people asking common questions... sometimes if the terminology isn't perfect you won't find what you're looking for

I've got the bilstein 5100's up front for the level, +1mm 18x9 fuel pumps on 325/60/18 toyo a/t II's. I tried some 325/65/18 terra grapplers but because of my offset they hit metal that I didn't wanna cut. If I remember right my tires measure out too be 33.4x13x18.

Positive offsets tuck into the fender well more whereas a negative offset will stick out of the fenderwell more.

Truck is a 2014 FX4 5.0L ...
I will upload more pics later when I get the chance ... I just got my Autospring 1.5" front leveling kit installed yesterday, and now need to get the 2" blocks for the rear to get the butt up just a tad higher than the front end. I don't want/need wide mud tires, so I went with the 275/65r20 Nitto Terra Grapplers (34" tall) ... Once I get the new rear blocks in, this thing is gonna look precisely how I want it.
FYI: factory tires on this truck are 275/55r20 (32") ... Factory rear blocks are 1 3/8" tall.

I've got 18" Fuel Pump wheels on LT285/65R18 Nitto Terra Grapplers with a 2" level. Just got these put on Tuesday and haven't had a chance to wash the truck yet.
Looks like Gprice2 and I have similar tastes
