Default Tire Pressure Sensor Question

Does anybody know if take-offs from 2009 models thru current are compatible with 2004 to 2008 models? If I buy a set of take-offs for my 08 Lariat with stock 20's to a platinum style 20 is just a simple swap of the tires and wheels or will I get a sensor light on the dash or do I need to take it to a dealer for the learning procedure etc?

They are NOT compatible.

Band (434 MHz) - pre-2009

Stem (315 MHz) - 2009+

My 2007 has 315 MHz. Run your VIN on ETIS and you can see what frequency they are. But you will need to train the new ones to your truck. I bought the tool on ebay and used these instructions...http://www.ebay.com/gds/How-to-Train...7044847/g.html
