Tinting out tail lights

Should I do them myself and how would I do it? Or should I just pay someone to do it for me?

Do it yourself... It's more rewarding and if you mess it up you can buy OEM ones fairly cheap on ebaymotors.

Cheaper to do it yourself. Get enough materials to do it twice, at least. I use Lamin-X stock rolls. After doing four cars, this round I went for the painted ones on here and they look much nicer.

Could you give me a walk through?

Go to Headlight Armor .com. They have good how-to vids that I simply followed and worked great. All you need is a good, clean spry bottle, warm water and a flexible squeegie type to press out the air bubbles.

A roller?! I used the VHT Nite-Shades on my ol' Ranger tail light. Using a roller could leave lint on surface..... Just take off your tail lights, clean them real good, wipe dry/air dry, bring'em into your garage or basement(anywhere that's not windy or dusty) and spary 2 light coats or until they are dark enough for you.

VHT....thread///.

I used rustolem lense paint similar to night shade but I think it turned out better.
