My RCX rears can make the rear end start running away over repeated bumps in streets or especially gravel roads with some washboard spots.

As mine is mostly a commuter truck, I rarely go over anything rougher than a few potholes. There are some gravely areas not far from where I am, and I might go test the truck there to see how it performs....

So, I just looked closer at the shock info and mine (the rears were sent as part of my lift kit) are part number 33-185569. They are 5125's. I don't think they're Ford specific, but others who installed this lift have not complained of any noise.

Just got done changing mine out. I went with Rancho RS9000XL Part Number 999384. I've had my 2016 F150 XLT for 28 Weeks now and put right at 7000 miles on it. Those OEM shocks had to go ! LOL

Washboard gravel roads are ditch makers for all mt pick ups. Slow is the ticket for them.

I also posted this question in another thread. I just bought my 4 shocks , they came this week, The front struts the 5100's have 4 different settings. Where my truck is stock but has the forward slope, setting the front strut for a 1" lift should not affect the handling or cornering and should level it 'some' ? Thanks
