What’s a EPAS? Why so many sensors? I just want a basic 4x4 truck with a lever in the floor for the T Case , no ABS, No Traction Control, heck I wish Air Bags were optional . Can’t somebody build a basic truck anymore ? I think my 2012 is my last new truck . I won’t to travel back to 1984 , the f150 I met my wife in , A in-line 6 long bed automatic . More comfortable than what I have now Bench Seat Rocks.

Airbags as optional? Little bit of crazy talk there. Having been in two wrecks myself they are a MUST have for me. Absolutely kept me from serious injury or death in the last wreck! The rest though have to agree, this auto crap is a PITA with the 4wd system. #1 reason I went back to RWD. Haven't needed it in the past 3 decades, certainly don't need it now.

Ram is making a serious attempt at the crown, and Ford had better watch out, it can go that fast!
I drove a 2019 Ram the other day. It out drives the F-150 and Chevy/GMC. I wanted to buy a Ram but they are too hot right now. Incentives aren't bad but to get a Laramie you're gonna pay 51,000-53,000. I found a Lariat with almost 8,000 off with a MSRP of 49,000. I bought the Ford and am happy with my purchase. Besides, Ford has had better reliability than Ram over the years.

Dodge would have to have a few years of proven reliability before I would ever buy a Dodge truck.
