Default King Ranch vs FX2/FX4 Question

Is their a difference between the FX2/FX4 leather seats and the King Ranch Leather seats. I know the color is different but is the actual leather a different material or quality etc?

Thanks

Nope, both are made in the Hung Lo province of China out of the same cheap Chinese cowhide.

well if that is true Mr. *****, then it would seem to me that the King Ranch edition is not superior to the FX2/FX4.

From what I hear the leather in lariats platinums and king ranchs are real leathers where as the leather in xlt and fx models are a blended leather.

It's pretty much the same. There might be more leather and less synthetics in the King Ranch, but the leather is pretty much the same. I hate to think of how many Naugasauruses they killed to make all that naugahyde.

And I thought the bedroom furniture my wife just spent $10K was made in America, I was fooled. And don't ask where that clove of garlic you just bought came from. Yep, it did. It sucks.

If I'm not mistaking it used to but now it's still real saddle leather but it's treated.

There is a difference. My buddy has a lariat and a king ranch and the KR has a different feel, look, and even smell. I'm not sure if the KR is 100% real but it's much more real than the lariat and the KR leather has to be conditioned.

Research indicates that in 2009 they started putting in real saddle chaparral leather that does have to be conditioned
