SSI was recommended to me by SCT as I am running one of their canned tunes in my 2018 f150 screw right now and I'm not happy with the shifting or the tune in general . I spoke with Sean on the phone today and he seemed like a pretty nice guy told me if I ordered Tunes tonight I would get them tomorrow . I just spent the last 2 hours reading reviews and I'm a little taken back by some of the things I'm seeing .Why would a company like SCT / Bully Dog recommend him if he is so terrible . Any input is appreciated .
Not touching this one........goodluck and please do a little more research before you make any decisions. But did SCT the company or a SCT dealer recommend SSI?
All I know is what 5star told me. They sell the ngauge and sct, but for the 18s told me flat out the sct had bugs. That was 4 months ago, maybe they are ironed out? Call 5star and chat with them. They will be straight up with you

So far the BDX has been flawless . It's the canned tune that sucks .
You mentioned the shifting sucks. That's why 5star didn't recommend it to me, said even with thier tune was buggy. Ngauge shifts are great
Not sure what the box would would do to make shifting bad . I was told by SCT that their canned Tunes do not reprogram the TCM . Shawn said his tunes do .
