Only if you get caught or something gets damaged and Ford blames it on the tune

To me it is just not worth the warranty being voided. These are half ton pickups not sports cars. I personally witnessed a guy being told his warranty was voided because he had been using a 5star tuner. Something to do with his tranny being cooked. He was not happy.

5star offers their own warranty option if you want. Otherwise the cases of those who got nailed by Ford are significantly outweighed by those who've had no issues. Granted, an FI setup like an Ecoboost likely increases the risk of problems. But still rare if done by a proper shop.
