Default Coupon For The Works Oil Change

So I log into the MyFord website, and they are offering a The Works coupon, which I have printed many times before.

Here is a picture of a page Snip, do you see a problem with this coupon? Note the 6/30/18 expiration of this valuable coupon.

So I did a My Ford chat, and David says call the dealer for details. WTF?

Am I doing something wrong?

The dealer I go to always gives you the works discount you don't even need the coupon. Now if they would clean up the after the oil change so you don't have drips that would be nice.

I think the regular price for The Works is $39. I don't think that coupon gives you anything extra off the regular price.

That is what the last coupon I printed said, $39.00.

But David, at Ford, said this in a Chat. It sure sounds like they are preparing us for a price increase, so be prepared for "incorrect expectations". Just saying.

Currently each Ford Dealership is locally owned and operated, and as such each locations prices do change. As such the coupon will not reflect a price, as it may be different than what the Ford Dealership charges. Have you contacted the Ford Dealership for information on this?
Since each Ford Dealership may have different prices, this is to prevent incorrect expectations from being conveyed.
BTW, a coupon without a price on it is not really a coupon, is it, LOL?

When I was at the Stealership yesterday making a service appt. I asked how much for an oil change & filter-- answer $34.95. Service Advisor also noted that Ford "recently" bumped the oil change price up by $5 since he price of oil has gone up.
Asked about TheWorks offer & it was $39.00. Hmmmm? 5-bucks to rotate tires, I'm all over that!!

Just went to the dealership a few weeks ago for an oil change and tire rotation. Their charge is $49.95. With taxes it was about $52.00. That included 8 quarts of oil for a 5.0 a filter and tire rotation. The oil and filter at Walmart would cost me about $40. I consider that a pretty good deal.

The shop I work for has a "WORKS PKG", for $39.95, for 5 qts, filter, labor, and tire rotation every other time. ( I write the tickets, and will rotate your tires EVERY time if you tell me that is what you want. An additional $4.00/qt for each quart over the original 5.

SO, $45.62 total for 5 qts., filter, labor including rotation, tax, shop supplies and all.

I figure that is CHEAP !!

Maybe a great deal on 5-quart change but I need 7. The up charge is off the hook. I had the Focus in for change and the filter was on so tight that the gasket got squeezed out and oil leaked.

I have lifetime oil changes. Have changed the oil four times, not one has been at the dealer.

I sleep better at night.
