synch Help with Mobile apps
 

I have a 2012 FX4 with navigation and voice activiation. I think the synch 1. I have a selection for mobile apps but says I have none as it needs synch associated apps to run.

I am looking at ford - synch trying to find out what apps are compatible...anyone have any clue of what apps are compatible and / or where to read up on it all.

iHeart radio, Pandora, Amazon music, Slacker Radio. Those are the only 4 I know for a fact work. You can check the settings of each app and see if it has a check box for use with Ford sync or launch from car or something like that.

In order for sync to know they are available for the 1st time you have to say mobile apps after you launch the app, from then on it'll be listed in mobile apps and voice command by app name will work.

EDIT: I speak from Android experience, no clue how it works with iOS.

thank you....accuweather is another...I do have Iheart radio on my iphone but it does not see that one..says I have none installed. Will have to try again and try after doing accuweather. Cityslicker and glympse are others...there a pollen app one too??

Thank you. I will have to play more!!! I sorta forgot about this feature and want to take full advantage of my truck....and I look at weather all the time.........

OH I will have to check the settings like you said... maybe dont have it checked there as it says I have to apps. WOW..>THANKS

Hmmm dont see in Iheart settings...I will do accuweather and lunch check settings then check truck mobile apps if it sees it. hmmmm I gotta be doing something wrong......its usually user error....LOL

The only mobile app that runs on mine is Stitcher, the rest Slacker, Accuweather, Amazon music will not load. Anyone know why?
