Switch to Synthetic Oil

I have a 92 F150 inline 6
I am thinking of switching to a fully synthetic oil
Currently the engine requires 10w-30

I am looking for opinions of switching over to synthetic and if so, what brand, viscosity and weight should I use?

Everyone will have a different opinion about oil weight/type. Just remember that once you go synthetic, you stay with synthetic. I would try Motorcraft Semi Synthetic with a motorcraft filter. If your truck advises to use 10/30 then stick with that.

I'm guessing that the motor has lots of miles already? If so not much point really. But feel free. I've switched back and forth between conventional and synthetic depending on rebates on the oil.

Just stick with 10w30

I have ran synthetic oil in my 2006 since we bought the truck. It's a 4.6. No problems at 150,000 miles ( knock on wood)
