New to the forum. I just bought a 07 "scab" (read a bunch already) lariat 5.4 3v. Love the truck! Unfortunately the rear end (rack and pinion) needs to be replaced. Faint whine from rear end. I just got the truck so bigger tires def want even be a factor until the 275/65s michelins need replacing and they are brand new. I plan on having the rear end fixed soon and was wondering if I should go ahead and upgrade the gears while it's open. I mean they will be replacing the stock ones anyway and didn't know of upgraded gears would be good with regular tires like mine. Thanks everyone
