Default Suspension Upgrade Questions

Looking to improve overall the ride quality of the truck. It has Max Towing and 4WD. I have researched a Bilstein 6112 FRT Coilover/5150 Rear Resi combo, a Fox 2.0 Resi Rear/2.5 Front. I do not care if the offroad capabilities grow exponentially, rather, the ride quality, being able to smooth over the washboard and rutted or torn up pavement.

And ... "the truck" IS?

I'm guessing it's an F150.
OP- I've owned several sets of Fox 2.5F/2,5 and 2.0R. I always found them to be smoother riding than stock, however, I've also never had a problem with the stock suspension ON THE STREET.
Having said that, for your concern, the 2.5's would be a waste of money-especially with the reservoirs(unless you make it a habit to haul *** up and over islands and curbs-it saves a lotta time sometimes. If you wanna go with Fox, I'd just go with the 2.0's.
I've never tried the Bilstein CO's, but have owned I dunno...5 or 6 sets of the 5100s, and found them to actually have a harsher ride than stock(I chalked it up to weak valving on the compression side). The Caveat here is I've never used 'em on an F150, and honestly don't know why I never told the lift installer(s) to use something else when I had the lifts installed on the HD's I had 'em on. Had bigger fish to fry I guess...
If you've got 20's on your truck, you'll find the ride gets a lot better if you step down in wheel size so your sidewall height increases

Just put Fox 2.0s all around on my new '19 Lariat. 800 miles later and I am happy with it. For a lifted aftermarket ride it feels normal. It's not as cushioned as stock, but have to know that going in

Sorry, 2019 F-150 SC 3.5L Eco with Max Towing and FX4. I didn't think stock was that smooth, it isn't bad, but can be better.

20’s with Goodyear AT. The AT’s I like had them on something else. Max tow has more to do with the ride

I just finished installing Bilstein 5100's front and rear on mine. The ride is firmer, but much more planted and controlled with faster rebound.

It's not what you want if you're looking for softer. It's what I wanted though because it got rid of the slop and mush and handles better. I live in the mountains and the the stock FX4 suspension was just too soft with too much body roll for my liking.

Default Suspension

Body roll and rebound are issues. Fix 2.0 vs. 5150 I was thinking. Valvibg on Fox May be better. 2.5 can be tuned

I can only give personal feedback on the Bilstein 5100, but from what I gather (spoke with the guys at my Ford dealer who have tried them all) the Bilstein 5100 is better for street/towing use and the Fox 2.0 or Bilstein 6112 are better for offroad use.

Once again...only what I've been told.
