SuperCrew vs SuperCab vs Extended Cab....
#11
Hi all, first time poster here. I'm sorry to bring this thread back from the dead, but I've noticed that it has had several posts spanning from 2008 into 2009, so thought I'd post here instead of starting a new thread.
I recently acquired a 1998 F150 4x4, but I'm having trouble determing what 'cab' it is. I'm trying to buy parts for it (step bars etc), and knowing the proper term when getting these parts sounds vital. My truck has the regular two front doors, then to get into the back you have to push the seat forward/down, and let the passenger crawl in. The door does not swing open like a suicide door would. Any idea's what it would be called? "1998 Ford F150 ------- Cab" ? Thanks guys, much appreciated!

Since you can fit more than 3 people, you have a supercab, or extended cab. The Crewcabs had 4 fullsize doors and the regular cabs could only seat up to 3 people.
