Proud SCab driver here! I looked at the SCrew but decided I needed a bigger bed as opposed to a bigger back seat. I don't regret it one bit, especially since I rarely carry anyone in the back seat.

...and standard cabs are now rarities where they used to be no.1...times have changed. I wonder if manufacturers would save money by just getting rid of the standard cab? What is the separate tooling and production cost vs. the benefit of the smallest portion of sales? Would the Scab be available at a lower price with the demise of the standard cab? .
Pretty much I think the main reason you still have regular cabs is base pricing and companies buy the bulk of the regular cabs I see.
Own a 2003 f-150 scab with flareside bed as it was the biggest cab you could get the bed in back then. If I buy new however it would probably be a supercrew with flareside
