Standard Cab Short Bed - I've always liked the looks of the 'original' looking pickup truck but I think the next truck I buy will have four doors!

Not a bad idea....it's not only a good thread and friggin hilarious

But, we try and not keep to many sticky's so everything is not cluttered.

I did the scab because I never use my back seat for passengers other than the dogs. I like to have locking dry storage for a few things. I went short bed because I haul stuff, but I have a lumber rack if I need to take long things. I also didn't want the extra length because its my daily driver. I had a 99 scab long bed, and it was a pain.

I've also had a single cab and it was nice, but the option of extra passengers, and the additional dry locking storage is a bonus. Put it this way... if I'm going to have the regular-length wheelbase, i'd rather have an extra 2 feet in the cab than in the bed.

But, to each his own. If you have a family of 6 you might wanna get "screwed", and if its just you and your wife, you might save money on a reg cab.

...but rehashing the same topic in multiple threads is also clutter!

Yeah, I agree.... but we keep the sticky's for informational purposes and don't want 20 at the top of each forum...if the others/admins think we should too we'll sticky it up.

Seems to be filling out as expected: majority crew cab followed closely by super cab with standard cab trailing by a longshot.
