Unless you drive adults around on a regular basis im a huge fan of the supercab. The back seats I feel like are bigger than previous years and kids seem to have plenty of room back there. Plus you get the 6.5 bed without spending more money on a screw 6.5. resale is better on screws but they cost more up front. Back seats fold up for plenty of space too. I love my supercab

I went from a RCSB Silverado to a SuperCab 04 XLT. I drove it for 2 weeks before trading it off with my dad's 4 door Volvo S40. Then to a CCSB F250 Lariat. And now a SuperCrew F150 FX4. I'll never go back to anything that has a halfway back seat you can't fit a fullsize adult in comfortable. Either 2 door, 2 seater; or a 4 door, 4-5 seater.

SCABs are comfortable for kids, adults on short trips or once in a while.

SCREWs can fit up to your mother in law in the back seat.

Fords extended cab doors suck. I would probably have considered buying Chevy or dodge if I would have known how much of PITA the rear doors are. I didn't want to pay more for the bigger cab and I wanted the longer bed. I bet ford sells more extended cabs when they make them like Chevy and dodge. I'm sure some people don't care, but I live in an apartment complex and have a small parking lot at work. It's a pain to get anything out of the back because you have to have both the front and back door open.

Plenty of room though!

My preference was the supercrew for the last three ('06 Super Duty, '10 F150, '14 F150) and I'm glad I went that way. We road trip lots and now with a wee one, the wife likes to sit in the back with him. She has lots of space and can stretch out if we move up the front seat a bit.

I do miss the 6ft box, but I couldn't fit it and the big cab in my garage (Super Duty was too long as well).

If you don't need the interior space, I suggest the supercab. It's nice to have the box space. My 2000 was a supercab and worked great for me at the time (had it for 9 years).

Thanks guys, yeah I pretty much roll by myself most of the time. Am not worried about hauling kids or adults around. I like the super cab for the extra bed space to be able to load up and head to the ranch.
For those of you that recently bought super cabs was there a decent selection on the lot or did you do a build and buy type thing?
