Super Bowl Ad Aftermath: Ford Boosted By GM's Fallout?

It's not that easy...they have cotracts with them, believe it or not through GSA. No vehicles = would hurt the government....I'm pretty sure there is a lot more if anyone wants to chime in....I just scratched the surface. That's like Government not bailing out Airline companies...how is everyone supposed to fly including our military? Politics are all screwed to hell and no matter who you vote for this coming year they won't be able to even fix all the damage that has been done.

Well I'm a muscle car fanatic so when it comes to the challenger, mustang, camaro and corvette I'll drive em all. Why not the charger you might ask.....bc the charger I remember was not a d**m four door!

How about that new GT500 coming out next year, 650hp from the factory and capable of 200mph. YUM. Hopefully Ford puts that new 5.8L in the Ford GT and tries to match the ZR1.

They didn't bail gm or american airlines out because of transportation.... just imagine how many americans would be put out of work the gm went under (companies that supply parts would suffer greatly, thousands of assembly line workers, all the gm dealership employees) and then imagine how many people would be hurt by AA going under (motel chains, rental cars, airline employees)

Ford does sell more 1/2 ton trucks than Chevy, but when you add in GMC, they sell way more than Ford. Having said that, I have a 2010 Silverado 4x4 for a work truck. That is the main reason that I bought the F150 for a personal vehicle.
IMO, the F150 is a stouter vehicle. Heck just compare the tailgates. The Chevy is light and all the mounting hardware is significantly smaller than the F150. The F150 rides a bit better, but the handling on the Chevy is much crisper. The Chevy's drivetrain "clunks" a lot, where the F150 is much smoother. Gas mileage advantage goes slightly to the 5.0 in the F150 compared to the 5.3 in the Chevy. The F150 exudes quality where the Chevy seems more like an updated El Camino. The Chevy is a simpler truck that should be cheaper and easier to work on though. Good thing, it will probably need it.
