Default Subwoofer

Hello

i am Darleen and very new to this. I have a question I am doing over a 2005 Ford F-150 and I love music. I am replacing the factory setup and want to add a subwoofer and someone said this would fit under my seat and I just want to make sure or if anyone had ideas it’s a AUdiop kic 100 dual 10” car audio subwoofer box. The only spot I can put one would be under the back seat as there no room to put anything behide it and I can’t have it on the seat or floor as I have grandkids. Any ideas would be great. That’s the only thing I have no clue about when it goes to replacing or fixing is the audio systems.

There are several places that sell pre-made, custom fit sub enclouers. they make single and dual enclosures.

You can add an amp using the factor system but you would be much better off with an aftermarket HU.
Crutchfield is the best place for HU's.

If you want to stay with the factor HU you will need an amp with high level inputs. You will need to splice into one of your rear speaker wires for the
amp to get a signal from the HU.

Default Subwoofer

Hello
thank for getting back to me about thing. I do have an amp and the subwoofer was ordered through amazon. Everyone said I will have no issue with it but then again the last person that said that I ordered everything that I needed and not knowing anything about size when I did receive the other subwoofer let’s say it was way to big and it sure was not going to fit under any seat lol.

I went with a Kicker Hideaway 10" powered sub and it's so much more than enough for my 2018 supercrew. Installation was so easy a 9 year old could do it. Also, it's slim enough to fit behind the seat.

There isn't as much room behind the seat on 2004-2008 F150's. An amp might fit, but that's it.
