Forget about it if you can................They were playing you as a sucker and it did not work..................Their Loss ($$$$$) Not Yours....You should feel better because you got a better deal...................More people should really shop around more (including myself).

I would definitely give the dealer owner a call. I don't know where they get it from but i have dealt with the same kind of *** hats. I'm young, 29, and i don't dress like a rich snot, I'm a construction Foreman, the last dealership i had a bad experience with i walked in i had to seek out a sales agent so i asked for the manager, they can get you a bit of a better deal usually, i inquired about a xtr and and xlt, 2013, he kept working the sticker price, not budging, so i pressed him about it and he knocked off a few thousand, i said this isn't going to work for me and walked out. Went into a dealer out of town, was treated like a human being instead of a little kid with no reason to be there. Worked him for an hour, he knocked 12000 off the sticker on a 2013 xlt super crew fully loaded. what's funny is when he found out my yearly income he started talking about getting me into a raptor lol. I said i make good money but im cheap and my wife is even cheaper lol.
The guy you dealt with sounds life the same guy that snubbed me. Not sure where they get off being so arrogant. I'm positive if his floor manager or the owner found out he would at the very least be written up. If i had an employee bad mouthing customers and losing contracts over his actions i would certainly fire him.

For me it would really hard just to sit back and do nothing, I'm not talking about going up there and starting some fight, although it would have crossed my mind. But I would have a long talk with the owner of the dealership and believe me something would get resolved before I left. That sales managers attitude is just uncalled for and very unprofessional, the damn nerve of some people.

Just my .02 cents.

Man, you know, when I think about what you have said, I just wonder how many people he has suckered into overpriced cars in the past. If it were me, I'd take it to the owner of the dealership. I would make it clear that under no circumstances would you ever feel comfortable bringing your new truck, or any other vehicle in for service, nor could you in good faith recommend that dealership to any of your friends. Word of mouth is more detrimental for a business than it is for a private citizen. I don't think you can sue him, but you can darn sure go over his head. If the owner shrugs it off, well then, they're loss.

There's NO SENSE in them treating anyone like that !!!!!!!! NO ONE can AFFORD to lose customers !!!!!
Go tot he main man and "polietly" explain your position. I did this one time and got all kinds of rsults !!! But in the words of Patrick Swayse, "Be nice until it's time NOT to be nice".
