How does this work? Get a cup of it and just set it in the truck?

I have arachnophobia. I would rather drive off the road and hit a tree than run over one of those suckers. Kill a spider and your daughter will marry poor.

That's funny! I have one that I've been hauling back and forth to work for about two weeks. He goes under the glass of the driver's side mirror when I open the door. He hasn't bothered me and hasn't made any attempts to get inside so I let him be. Stink bugs are the real pain in the ***. I hate those damn things. They can devastate a garden so they get crushed when I see them.

Sounds like you're gonna have to nuke it from orbit. It's the only way to be sure. Sorry.

Dilute it. Try 1 part vinegar to 2 parts water. Spray it lightly around the edge of your carpet. Test it first in a less obvious place to make sure it doesnt fade. Just mist it. Dont soak it. It ll smell a little like vinegar for a few hours, just air it out. Old southern tip my grandma taught me to keep pests out of the house.. that was when I had the copperhead in the bed of my truck. Used it in mine and havent had the first issue with anybugs.

I'm thinking it's a warranty issue......Like you I would be a bit scared of spraying the painted areas, but you have to try something. I bought some insect killer from Lowes, I'll try to spell it correctly "Triazacide", that should be close. It can be used on garden vegetables, so it may be safe for the paint. It works good, just mix with water, I use it mostly on ant hills around the house. But it kills all kinds of creepy crawlers. Good luck.

BTW, welcome to the forum. And, congrats on the truck...spiders, and all.

Funny you mention the warranty because the dealer did mention after I saw the spider at the dealership that the truck comes with the spiders no charge. Guess that's what I get, dry humor when buying a Ford at a Chevy dealer...lol

I think when I get some time off I will take it to the wash and spray the wheel wells out and see if that helps. might also give that vinegar and water solution a shot too. Hopefully this heat can die out and snow can start hitting the ground so these damn things will freeze to death

That and I can try my 4x4 out

I got my problem from parking near bushes. I notice they started getting inside and nesting in the door panels and A/C areas. You can use the pressure washer on the entire truck, I use one at 1500 psi to wash my truck
