I have a lariat. (2004) no room under the back seats for anything. What do you guys do for easy access storage other than a tool box in the back. With a jacked up truck the toolbox is not the easiest thing to get to! Lol. Just thought it would be cool to see what others have built or adjusted to have storage.

If you have a lift kit on your truck you may consider a Amp Research bed step that makes it much easier to get into the bed.

I had a tool box in mine and loved it. It was also factory height though. I don't know how much you are trying to store, but maybe put what you carry in a medium sized toolbox and keep it in the floor in the back seat. You can keep it organized and you can move it around as you need or even put it in the bed if you have that many people riding with you, and it's easy to get to.

I would agree on the Amp research bed step. I'm getting one for Xmas and can't wait, we'll if I can wait until then but it's definately worth it and would be very useful.
