Stereo/ Radio
I’ve been a Chevy fan most of my life but have purchased a F150 long bed regular can and looking to make upgrades along the way.
Not certain of my sound system options on a budget any suggestions ?? thanks |
Definitely a sub and maybe better speakers.

How could we guess, knowing NOTHING about the truck you're talking about? Click these & read the captions:

New reg. cabs do not have the speakers in the pillars, unlike the previous gen. My 2009 reg. cab had a pretty good-sounding stereo (and a line-in jack, but no USB) where my '16 lacks the rear speakers and sounds terrible. It isn't much more than a "car radio" circa 1974. Note* XLT, stock.
I discovered this the day that the new truck was delivered to me at the dealer, going through the audio controls with the salesperson, and no "fader" - because no speakers. |
I pick the truck up tomorrow and havent really looked to see the radio.. I know it doesn’t have a screen but my plan is to have own install with camera and all.

You only need rear speakers (not the sub) if you have rear passengers.
