Default Speed limiter / Programmer

Hello all, I am new to the forum so go easy on me .

I manage a fleet of vehicles for our install department. All of the vehicles are Fords and model years range from 2010 - 2016 with some gas and some diesel. I would like to purchase a programmer that would allow me to LOWER the speed limiter on these company fleet vehicles for obvious safety reasons. Is there a programmer that would work for this task and for both gas and diesel applications? Or if there is another method to do this (other than disciplinary actions to the employees) please let me know.

Thanks for the help!

A programmer will only allow you to use it one 1 Vehicle at a time.. VIN locked.. maybe what you need is FORSCAN.

But would he have to buy a different tuner for each vehicle? Or is there a fleet option that allows the same unit to program the whole fleet?

True... What about the controls you can do on certain keys? When I had my 2010 Escape, I could program a particular key to be a key that had like parental controls on it. It would have max speed on it, and even be set to not allow the radio to work if the seatbelt wasn't buckled.

What Martian said. Just program a MyKey for each vehicle that only allows a certain speed.

Thanks Everyone. I am being told by the dealer that its not as easy as programming a key with a lower speed limiter. It has to be triggered by something like the radio volume level or seat belt not being buckled. I will call again and see if he can look into the "My Key" options a little closer. Thanks for everyone's quick replies and help!
