I am looking to enable Sirius XM on my 2015 XL truck. I purchased a used Siruis enabled ACM module and third party antenna, I have been trying to find a way to enable Sirius with forscan on my truck. It looks like I have gen 1 APIM, and the 4" display. Its not a touchscreen or sync 3. I ran across several posts that mentioned the following edits for another truck. I tried these but I still cannot enable Sirius. I did read on a Taurus forum that you had to reprogram the FCDIM but I don't have any information on the FCDIM forscan field for the F150. Does anyone know how to reprogram the APIM or ACM to enable Sirius on a 2015 Ford XL 4in display?

Forscan mods I have used so far:

ACM codes 727-01-01 5xxx xxxx xxxx (using "1" doesn't allow for sync to work)
727-04-01 0001 0155 53DD
APIM code 7D0-01-01 2xxx xxxx xxxx

You can't enable a module that your truck does not have, "FCDIM" <-- that one

Try aftermarket to add Sirius.

Thanks for the quick reply. it might not be the FCDIM. I know that the ODIIGenie guys sell a programing tool that enables this, I am just curious on how to do this natively through forscan. I am assuming that the ODII Genie interface is an embedded controller that mirror the forscan ODBII commands to the ford modules. Do you know if there are mods in other modules that could enable SIRIUS on the 4in display?

Do you have the satellite antenna on the roof top? If no then you do not have a sirius equipped truck, you will have to add it. Looks like this on the passenger side.

So my truck (2015 f150xl) did not come with Sirius or the antenna on the roof. Recently I purchased a Sirius equipped ACM to support turn on the kicker subwoofer. The Sirius equipped ACM came from a 2016 truck and I know when I program the ACM through forscan,I see the warning about obtaining a Sirius subscription, upon the forscan commit and the ACM reboot. My hope is to enable Sirius XM on the truck. Do you think I need to also replace the APIM (or the 4in display fcdim) to enable the functionality on the ACM? Is there a way to reprogram the APIM to turn Sirius on on the media menu. I saw that people we able to this with the sync3 units.

Check in the 15+ forscan section for more details, still have to get an antenna as well. That you could probably lay under the dash top so long as no metal is blocking it above or cut a hole in the roof for it.
