Key is get an American call center
BMan, I just got the 6 month deal for $30 with all the traffic (didn't ask for it) Of course they add the junk fees and charge an extra $2 for sending you an invoice. We are summering at our house in VA and didn't want to pay for both the F150 and Ford Escape so I transfer a portable unit between both vehicles.
BTW, I lucked out and got an American call center! Real nice call taker, no hassle and I told him that I wanted to renew at the 6month/$30 rate and he said no problem, which ESN. The key is to get someone in the US. He had to read me the usual BS about renewing automatically if I didn't cancel.
Personally, the quality sucks but I'm tone deaf anyway so it doesn't really matter, plus I can get REAL country music on Willie's Roadhouse and Bluegrass on Bluegrass Junction on 61. What more could a hillbillie want other than a little 'shine.

Once I get an invoice, I do an online check with my bank. They wouldn't let me cancel until the day of, I tried.

No good deals, the sound quality is on par with a 70's transistor radio. I guess if you like talk channels but music? Not happening, the compression they use obliterates any hope for music.
I use Bluetooth audio and stream with my cell phone, much better sound quality.

I always renew but you have to demand the best deal in a sense. I never accept a deal from the first person they have me talk to. I always tell them to I want to cancel. They send you to the cancelation department and that's where you can get the deals. Best deal I ever get is 20 dollars for 5 months it is the cheapest monthly that I know of. But they always give me that price when I renew just have to talk to the cancelation department. I have never gotten a better deal than that even though I try. I just call ever five months the day before it renews do the process all over.

I renewed last month and got everything traffic weather ect for I think it was 59 bucks for 6 months I think... somewhere around there. I gave them my creditcard number but I am going to call the back and tell them I need to change my card number because I got a new one and make sure they cancel the old number. Worked last time

I see the website is offering 9.99/month for the package I need. 2 of my trips will be within a month of one another so I will likely do a 1 month subscription and then another one when my next trip comes up.
Thanks!
Thanks!

A gal that I work with just renewed hers for $25.00 for a 6 month period. She waited, delayed and kept telling them she wasn't interested. She finally said, look....the only way i'll commit is if you give it to me for $25.00. And they did.
