Russ;

Like you I am also fastidious. You are living proof it pays off.

I recently retired a Ford Edge, 2009, from lease. It was so well kept that they forgave the 24,418 overage on the mileage.

I picked up a new F150 XLT on Friday ( http://www.flickr.com/photos/9790997...7636035172294/ ). By Saturday morning the dealer prep looked like utter crap, with the imperfections of the previous day's efforts glaring at me, including cheap tire dressing allove rhte vehicle top to bottom. I took it to the best detailer in my area and he cleaned it top to bottom, clayed it, and finished it off with a thick polymer coat on the entire exterior. Then orbital buffed it. Scotch Guarded the interior while he was at it also.

It will get a coat of wax before the bad weather starts up here in Ontario.

Paint looks like it's brand new since I'm a freak about detailing and it's garage kept

Both are really sweet Geezer Joe. The 2010 is a great configuration.

For a few $$$$$ and the 2009 STX 4X4, upgraded to a *new* 2011 FX4 off road with 5 miles on the clock (pic'ed in its current state of mod's)...
