Default Seat belt reminder removal

Hi, I don't like wearing my seat belt (if I can ride my motorcycle legally w/o a helmet, although I do, why should I be made to wear a seat belt?) , and would like to disable that annoying reminder/ding that tuns on after a few seconds of not wearing it. Any suggestions on how to turn it off?

If you have an 04+ check your user's manual, there is a write-up in it explaining what to do.

There is a lenghty process to eliminate the ding in that year as well that was in the manual.

If you can't find it let me know. I have my old one from my 01 and I will post it up here.

In the mean time just buckle the seatbelt in the seat before you get in and the reminder will no go off.

I'll just push in the belt release when I get in the truck- That seems to be the easiest way- I appreciate you guys pointing me in the direction of the manual though, It slips my mind that there is a lot of good info about the truck in there.

when i owned an 02 i would just push in the red seat belt tap after i cranked up the truck. It would not beep until i restarted the truck again. It became such a habit that i kept trying that on my 07.

It is not that lenghty..more of a push this then turn the key then press this kind of stuff.

That's all.....should only take a few minutes
