Question Seat Belt Fraying

Just wanted to get some insight from yall...

I have a 2013 F150 FX4 with 41,200 miles. My driver's side seat belt started fraying recently and is getting worse. I asked the Ford dealership close to me and they said, "There is nothing to be concerned with on the seat belt. After multiple usages they will do that."

What do yall think?

It does't look like a problem to me. I'd give it a "shave" to remove the stuff on the sides.

Use a cig lighter and burn the fuzz off, that'll keep it from fraying any more. I use a hand held mini blow torch, the kind you would solder wires with, lightly pass over the edges and done.

Yeah I had the same thing happen in my old ranger. Took a heat gun and went along the edges. Those little threads will burn right off and should keep it from fraying.
