Hey all I got this SCT tuner that was programmed for my 07 F150. I have no use for it. Been told it can't be used for my 15 or reprogrammed, is this true just seems like such a waste to just toss it out

No need to toss it. Put an ad on craigslist or in this forum, ebay etc... sell it. Use that cash and a little more to buy a programmer that works on your new truck. Likely SCT's latest, the x4.

Make sure to check that it is unmarried and has unlocks left on it. Otherwise it really is useless since SCT charges $150 to unmarry the tuner and $75 for the unlocks. If it not Unmarried or does not have unlocks left it is only worth maybe $50-75 on Craigslist.

Rnlcomp is correct, That model is not supported for the 2015+ Ford and you need to buy a new SCT X4 #7015.

Yeah if you never returned your 2007 back to stock the tuner will show its married. It would be only good read codes.

If you have the USB cable you can plug it into the PC and power it up. Go into device setting and it will display the status.
