It all depends on who you go with, 5 star has a lot of good reviews and they go for one for $75 or 3 for $200 here's the website for 5 star.
There is also MPT and they have 1 for $75 2 for $150 or 3 for $200 also with a lot of good feedback.
Here's their website.

With my normal day to day driving of typically no more than 2500 rpm tops...I really don't feel a huge difference in this tune? I tried the 93 tune and it is a little noticeable for my driving habits but not worth over $300 plus the cost of 93 gas. I cannot use the 91 tune as we don't have 91 ga here. The 87 tune is barely noticeable so I'm not sure this tuner is really right for me based off my driving habits? Any suggestions or thoughts?

Not sure what you were expecting from the tune?

Most buy them either for performance above 2500rpm or for pulling etc.

There are a few companies out there who make economy tunes for them, 87 economy is prob. the one you would want. Less power but more MPG.

Factories play it safe. I have 5-Star and my 87 performance/tow tune is awesome. Haven't even tried the 93 performance. Big improvement over stock. Granted, it's not going to make your truck feel like a Mustang, but you do notice a power increase.

I heard that they do not void your warranty but I have the kind of luck where something would happen and I would not be able to flash it back to factory settings and the dealership see I used a programmer and blame it on me?

Ford can only void the warranty as it relates to broken parts that can be directly attributable to the modification. For example, if your power window motor breaks they cannot void that specific warranty item for having a tune. If you have a upper end, lower end or tranny issue, then they will likely void your warranty. Ford and I am sure the other manufacturers respectively have a computer diagnostic system that communicates and provides data to Ford directly. Basically with chips you take the powertrain out of the warranty equation. Some dealerships are cool, others, not so much. I had a dealer that was cool when I was into modded Dodge diesels.

As far as tuning goes on 2011+ Ford trucks - once you flash the ECU (load any tune) there is no way to completely erase the evidence that it was done. This is different with the new copperhead ECU they started using in 2011. Previously you could tune and go through a few different methods to eliminate Ford seeing the tune.

As MisterScott stated though, the failure has to be directly related to the mod, but the computer controls damn near everything now so you're pretty well screwed if you need warranty work - unless you're dealer is cool to deal with. I've had it both ways with Ford but am seeing a trend shifting more and more towards dealers NOT being cool.

As far as custom tunes, everyone I've seen on the F150 forums likes Troyer and a few others. I came from the Mustang world and I'd suggest trying Lund Racing out - give Ken a call/email there, he's about as much of an expert as you will see on the newer Fords.
