Drum brake help!

So I just replaced my drum adjuster and hardware. And the way the adjuster is on that "spur gear" seems like it should be on the front side of the drum with the wire and not the back side. Does this look right? Btw I'm not sure the last person who did the drums put everything back right so I can't refer to the other side. And the pictures are taken from the driver side. 1998 f-250
