Saw my old truck today

I saw my first harley on craigslist a couple months back.Looking kinda beat up and sad.I texted the number and ended up having quite the convo with the seller. He was told he was 2nd owner so i cleared some things up about her past.Told him about engine and trans upgrades that I'd done myself from the horses mouth so to speak. He told me to come to the city and take her for a spin-i told him he was trying to sell it back to me lol.Funny part is he wants 5k more than I originally paid for it in much better shape than it is now!Never thought I'd ever seen that bike again.

A friend told me the 2002 Ford Taurus I traded to his dealer (for the 2012 FX4) was eventually sold to a 'townie' and the tranny blew out a week later. By state statute, they had to make good on the repair, $2500 for a rebuilt tranny. Looks like I won't be going back there anything soon. Of course, they gave me $2000 and sole it for $3800, so I don't feel so bad.

I have yet to see my old Ranger. Traded it in in Dec of last year. Know it was going to whole sale, so who knows where it went from there. It was definitely unique, so if anyone I know sees it I'll hear about it lol.

I sold my single owner 85 Dodge Ram in 93. I went out of town over the Thanksgiving holiday. Got a call from my wife that Friday morning that she saw my truck on the news Friday morning. Seems the guy i sold it to got blind drunk on Thanksgiving morning and clobbered two old woman coming home from church at about 10:30 in the morning.
She VCR'd it for me the next hour. I watched it when I got back home and sure as **** it was my truck, no doubt from the video. I sort of felt guilty, if I had not sold it to that ******* a month earlier them two woman might not have been killed that day.

I see my little '97 XLT Reg. Cab. all the time. I sold it (in 2007) to a neighbor right up the street. Four years later he sold it to the neighbor across the street from him. It's still running strong.
