Just what I've been thinking since going back to 150's, a fullsize fast car.

See?
And you are correct when you say "full-size" because I failed to note, earlier, the difference between a unit-body/unibody Mustang and a full-frame Crown Vic sedan... (our F150s using an amazing, fully-boxed, strong, ladder frame).
And I with some dyslexia read your post as "since going back to the '50s full-size fast car...".
BUT I DIGRESS.
Where were we?

LOL, the '50's?!?!? Hey, I misread at times myself, and usually pay for it!

Here's a sales pitch:
Do your own research. You have the most information available at your fingertips that any human has in human history...………..
so you come on to this message board and ask us to do your research for you.
"but you have experience" "blah blah bla"
Those are excuses that do not alleviate laziness instead of due diligence and research. Especially for buying a $40,000+ truck.
If we all told you various things on here, you'd take us at our word without knowing whether any of it was true or false. The entire board could put up a big ruse, and you'd just believe us.
It's like going on social media instead of spending 20 mins of quality internet research time. Use common sense. Trust legit sources, question no-name sources. Read. Confirm. Verify.

Yes a turbo vehicle will tow a more effortlessly than a NA engine but they'll both get the job done. I'm a fan of both engines even though my 2013 3.5 was a piece of **** and had many engines related issues. I'm on my 2nd ecoboost truck now and next year I'll be trading in on a 2019 5.0
The new 2018+ 5.0 is no joke along with that 10 speed, I truly feel the V8 benefits the most from the 10 speed out of all the engines. Best part about it is why some people don't like it, no turbos and all the crap that comes along with it 👍😁
