Roush Exhaust
#21
I received an answer from Roush regarding an extension of some sort that would have the pipes exit behind tire verses in front. The answer was that they do not have the ability to furnish that request, and further stated that with proper care there should be no discoloration of the aluminum wheels. Any thoughts out there? Also, no one has provided actual increase in mileage numbers yet. Does anyone have a hard number of mpg to share after installation? Mine is a 5.4 triton v8, supercrew cab.
ford did it infront of tire with aluminum rims in '97..they issued lots of recalls since it ruined the rims. maybe itll be fine it you take good care of the rims..do you want to risk it, is the question.
i can try and get a mpg number by the end of nxt week or so...im on my first full tank of gas with my new exhaust

Oh Man! I have been getting 15 MPG and it has not changed, I only got 9 MPG when in tow of my camper which is a travel trailer 33' and 7500 GVW. You only got 9 before and now 10.2 after? That is not so good. Is yours the 5.4 triton v8? Your sticker only showed 9 MPG?
