ford did it infront of tire with aluminum rims in '97..they issued lots of recalls since it ruined the rims. maybe itll be fine it you take good care of the rims..do you want to risk it, is the question.

i can try and get a mpg number by the end of nxt week or so...im on my first full tank of gas with my new exhaust

i just finished a full tank of gas and got 267.3 miles so im getting 10.2 mpg city lol not too bad. the window sticker says 9

267....are you serious? what size tank do you have? i got like 220 ish before gotts mod, exhaust and the silencer mod.

i tried to look it up and found most sites say 26 gallon, based on filling up when it was almost empty I always thought it was a 24 gallon tank

crap...i must have somthing wrong with my truck then, ive a 25 gallon tank and i was getting way under that...maybe it has to do with my rearend or somthing else?

Oh Man! I have been getting 15 MPG and it has not changed, I only got 9 MPG when in tow of my camper which is a travel trailer 33' and 7500 GVW. You only got 9 before and now 10.2 after? That is not so good. Is yours the 5.4 triton v8? Your sticker only showed 9 MPG?
