Default Roof Racks

Anyone running a roof rack that you absolutely love? Looking for one and gonna mount light bar on it. Thanks in advance and post some pics!

I know a member AKbray I think is his name built his own rack for his 10th gen. Check out his, and then maybe find a metal shop that can build one for you.

I went to the local rack attack and had them install the permanent mount thule system on my roof. For hauling two kayaks. The s-i-l did the same but got the whisper bars instead of the basic square cross tubes.

I'll only have my rack on when I'm haulin the kayaks.

Never thought of the permanent mount - can you explain why you went this way, what was involved in getting it done, and your thoughts now that you have it? I just got my truck in October so I need to determine what setup I'm going to go with for this spring. Thanks in advance!

When you remove the rack, what's left attached to the truck?
Yours is the tracks not the pads right?
