No, you'll just have to clean it off with some mineral spirits. Its a bit of a hassle but its doable.
Next time you should use foam insulation tape and cut a stencil. The tape can be found at most hardware stores

Default F-150 Super Cab roof leak

Hello All,
I live in Denver and it has rained every day for twenty three days, seven inches so far and my truck leaked.
I took everyone's advice and sealed the third brake light with silicone. Took five minutes.
Bunch of pussies, get a tool bag!
Can I say I am tired of the folks that think everything should have a life time guarantee? Walmart did it to you. I have had this truck for five years and only had a loose fuse that caused some problems.
Stop throwing Ford under the bus for a $1.00 gasket problem. Did they take your money to bail out the Union pension fund, screwing all the shareholders (GM) and keeping them in business so they could build the VOLT. Jesus Christ!
Some slick salesman told them this little foam gasket was just fine, and it was for five years.
I love my Fords and they have always treated me fairly.

You're lucky it was the third brake light. This past week with all the rain in Texas, I noticed water pouring out of the corner of the headliner behind the drivers seat, carpet was already soaked and the seat was well on its way.

I pulled it into the garage and pulled off the third brake light, it was dry. Tomorrow its going to the dealer, truck has 7k miles on it. The dealer is going to default to blaming the third brake light without even looking at it. I'm figuring its going to take several trips to the dealer before it gets fixed correctly.

Back in Feb. 2010 I took my F150 into Ford for water leaking from the 3rd. brake light. Now its 5yr. later and I got another water leak in the same place. My head-liner is now stained black from mold and I'm just sick about this. I don't drive my truck in the winter and only have 8,000 miles since new. Just sick about this ****.

The third brake light leaks happen on some brand new truck.

Default Third brake light leak

Well, I took it to the dealer and they said they leak tested it and replaced third brake light housing. Its raining right now on westpark between 1464 and mason and theres water both in the light and dripping from the corner headliner. Time to unload this piece of **** on something else. Dealer kept it for two days and probably didn't do anything to it.

I'm betting it will be your satellite radio antennae. That is the second location that these trucks tend to leak water through. Just had a similar experience with mine.

Ford, Chevy, and gmc all have reported issues with this.

Thumbs down 2015 f150 King Ranch - roof leak

9/14/2016 Every time it rains I have a leak.
I just returned from the dealership. After explaining that I had a torrent of water dripping from the center of the windshield onto my touchscreen and all the electronics - the EXTREMELY nice young lady tells me "this is by design"!!!! It was actually the small cloth part of the headliner behind the moon-roof controls that was soaked and dripping.
FORD told her that if the drains fail the water will enter the cab,.

I didn't want the stupid moon-roof anyway but I had to get it as a package.

After spending $64000.00 - I believe my next pickup will be a GMC. I am disgusted.
