Ripped offPa
I just replaced my rear bumper (parking lot rash) with an original Ford bumper. The replacement bumper is very flimsy and doesn't sit properly on the truck. Before I accuse the repair shop (not ford) of using sub standard parts, does anyone have an idea how to tell via a part number and/or location? It's a 2009 F150 FX4.

Was it an insurance claim or out of Pocket?
Either way, they may have used a generic bumper instead of an oem part. They could have charged you for the more expensive bumper and put on a cheap generic. A ford oem part will have a sticker or marking that has something like "fDot" on it. A generic normally doesn't.
If it was an insurance claim, your company probably agreed to pay for a generic. If it is outta pocket, go raise hell if it's generic.
Ps. Post a picture if you can

Hey it seems simply you got a rough deal, and were made to paid good for some flimsy not up to the grade material, as the originals either wont be so cheap and the originals will have there part code on it. by which you can easily identify them.
