Rhino TuffGrip VS LineX Premium
Hey everyone, I recently purchased a 2019 f150 xlt super crew with a 5.5ft bed and I'm looking to get a spray on bed liner. I got quoted $425 + Taxes for Rhino TuffGrip vs $625 + Taxes for Linex Premium for my 5.5ft bed. Is there any reason I should spend 200$ more for the Linex Premium over the Rhino TuffGrip?

Any option for just the regular Linex? I know the Premium supposedly has added UV resistance. I think the Rhino TuffGrip would be comparable to the regular "Standard" Linex.
I paid $500 for standard Linex on my 5.5 bed.

The standard would cost me $495 + tax, but I live in SoCal where its sunny year round. Im looking for the UV protection and from what I was told, both the Rhino Tuff Grip and Linex Premium have UV protection.

I’ve always been curious if this means it was actually done at the factory?!

Years ago I had Rhino (early 1990's) I had Rhino applied because they were the only player back then besides the hard drop ins.
It was sprayed on thick 1/8 of a inch I guess and was softer and rubbery. Decent stuff and it worked. LineX is 1/2 the thickness and turns hard and resembles sand paper.
Both are good products and have their own strengths and weaknesses on their own regarded.

Here's a comparison youtube of Ford Tough Bed vs LineX.
I have a buddy that owns a truck specialty shop and spray bedliners. He has contract with a local GM/Chevy dealership and sprays all their "add on" bedliners for them. He may spray 30 of their trucks in any given week.

Obviously the Line-X gets a much more detailed install job, with bolts removed and spraying around edges etc. And I like the textured finish. I guess some people would rather have it smoother as the factory job appears to be, but for my purposes, I prefer if stuff doesn't slide around and the rougher finish is good for that. (My Bullet liner is the same way.)
