Default Revv Limiter

anybody know if there is a way to take the rev limiter off of a 08 got some new tires and lift took it through some sand and almost got stuck because of that damn thing thanks guys

i wouldnt take it off, at 5400 or somethin like that the torque converter has the posibility to seize up, i read that somewhere...if your boggin down at 5k rpm try a tuner, exhaust and intake, that should help you out...then try re gearing if it dosnt help

i honestly wouldnt take it off i got stuck once as well but it just shifted and also it would be pointless to take off a rev limiter on an automatic..

Im sure you could find an aftermarket chip that disables the rev limiter, but like the others said, its not a good idea.
The rev limiter is there for a reason.
