Remote start from phob won’t work

Default Remote start from phob won’t work
2017 lariat remote start via key phob won’t work. Press 2x’s and solid red light which instructions say is successful stop. Will remote start and stop from phone using Ford app?
any suggestions???

Are you in range? Try doing it right next to the truck.

You need to press the lock button first, then press the 2x button two times.

Did lock first and then 2x’s start. I am getting a solid red light on the key Phob which the little card says means a remote stop success ?
